Smaller Containers - Familiarity and Indulgence
Post a Comment | View Comments (0)

In this days of extra large and biggie size portions everywhere.... I found Activia's Yogurt size container (113 g) a perfect one! Why? because it shows us what a real portion should look like.

For a product like this maybe a larger quantity of yogurt per container was going to be too much (aprox 170 g). I imagine that the quantity in each container was very thought through, depending on the suggested doses a person should have daily in order for the bacteria to show its effects in two weeks.

Smaller size containers may be a reminder for some Latinos in the US to other yogurt containers in Central and South America but also a smaller size container like the ones for facial creams and serums communicates "more special", "indulgent". I think Activia's flavor is delicious, fruity, feels natural and its sweet.
