I went to the supermarket to stock up on condensed milk to make some rice pudding at home. You know it is one of those staples that you always have to have, and so I found on my supermarket’s shelf a new brand called “Star”. This one was next to Borden’s “Eagle Brand” and Borden’s “Magnolia” condensed milk. For one minute I thought it even was from the same parent brand but wasn’t sure. I wonder why the same company has 3 different kinds of condensed milks. Looking closely at price you will notice that “Eagle Brand” is the premium, “Magnolia” the regular and “Star” the more affordable or value choice.
What caught my attention was that “Star” has a full bilingual panel on the back and that Spanish comes first in their copy order (in front panel). Very nice and value product for Spanish speaking only consumers.
Here is a link where you can see the nutritional facts and that the product is from Eagle Family Foods. Have a sweet day!

Comments
FYI: I bought a can of Star condensed milk and when I opened it, it was very brown. Usually the condensed milk I buy is not brown like this one was. After opening it the lid was a mess so I didn't get the info off the top. sorry.
