A carrot speaking Spanish? nah!..its the greens section on the produce isle at my local grocery store that is sellling ready washed lettuces and vegetables with Bilingual packaging. Interesting right? Another food category that is saying hola.
You would normalIy envision Hispanics prefering to go through the whole nine yards specially when talking about food. Buying food as a whole. Cutting, selecting and washing vegetables. Spending more time preparing a meal in the kitchen, but simple products like this could be demonstrating us that there is a niche of Hispanic consumers who have a busy lifestyle, speak Spanish and appreciate ready to use, ready to go foods.
About the packaging? I am not familiar with Fresh Express’s former English only packaging, but sure this Bilingual one looks good. I love the burst in the background and also love the how the typography lookes curved. A little odd choice I think, but looks unified with the whole package look which is very important. The sense? Friendly fresh and outgoing. Time for me to prepare a ceasar salad. Rico.
