This week my husband and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary and that brought memories of when we got engaged. Back then in South America, besides the happy fact of starting planning a new life together, the search for the ring or diamond style came up. (ok, ok, I was involved in picking the ring I liked)….It really didn’t matter how big the stone was, or what store it came from, what it mattered (taking about design) was that the ring was of the bride’s taste and style. If the diamond was clear and with no impurities… a “D” that was just “more” perfect. My point is that here in the US we are so caught and inmersed in the “Brand” world, that in a case like this I would have sighed/wished for a Tiffany- and maybe my perception of all the other brands/stores would have been less. A cultural thing? I guess so. In the end what its most important is Love.
