As part of my collection of observations on what products are becoming bilingual, I just came across before popping a bag in the microwave that the brand ACT II has made its packages Spanish-English. I have read the translation and it is good. Sentences with exclamation points are fun.
We mentioned earlier in a topic that clients nowadays "had' to renew their packaging and make it bilingual because it was becoming mandatory in certain stores.
I think its fabulous that products are reflecting what is happening culturally in the US, that Hispanics are the biggest ethnic minority, and with the said, products are becoming tailored for us.
How do you say "Popcorn" in your country of origin or your family's country? Share and let us know. Myself, I call it: "Canchita"....
